Again I have revisited an old practice recording (Dec 5, 2012) from our KarmaLogic days (just like 'Manzanheer Thullikal Minu' and 'Catching The Scorpion' off of my last album). Likewise, this is one take recorded in Brian's basement with a ton of bleed between the guitar and percussion instruments. Brian brought this song to us and this is a first or very early run-through (judging by my bass part which was all over the place - finding what worked). I decided to keep (and fix) the bass part and double it to make a dirty/phasey/synthy copy that kind of serves as a lead part. I then added my current Unbard Gates signature sound to it to make a finished product. I hope you find it enjoyable.
For this EP I have included another practice run (one take) without the tabla (Prasad couldn't make it that day) so that you can hear a raw version. Also our final performance of the song at a New Associate Reception at our place of employment live in 2015. The song always kind of 'devolved' in the middle of our jams and we'd lose our way until Brian would bring the main theme back on guitar, but this time we kept it together and it was the most disciplined version we had ever played. Sorry about the external noise in a couple of places, but I think the performance is worth it.
